Yahoo! News: PETA Launching Boycott of KFC
(AP) – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said Monday it is launching a boycott against KFC because of alleged animal-rights abuses by the chain of fried-chicken restaurants.
Remember that jingle? “Kentucky Fried Chicken: we do chicken right!”
What?
Did they figure they just hugged them to death or something? It’s the freaking Chicken industry, about as far as you get from a Pro-bird business as you can possibly get. If how they dispatch the end product bothers them, God help them if they ever found out how the chickens were raised.
